The book of Revelation, where John receives a stunning vision series of the future Earth and Heavens, is by far the most unusual and difficult book in the New Testament Christian Scriptures. John writes in the highly symbolic apocalyptic style, which uses dramatic images to convey spiritual truths. Once the reader gains a basic knowledge of the symbols John uses, the meaning becomes clearer.
